The 2018 IAFA Aesthetic Symposium in Miami
Dr. Jarrod Cornehl and his team attended the 2018 Aesthetic Symposium of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics (IAFA). It was held the weekend of October 5-6. The team flew to Miami and spent the day before the conference enjoying the city. We felt refreshed and ready to get the most out of the conference the next day.
The Symposium was split over two days. Friday was dedicated to lectures and presentations, while Saturday consisted of hands-on trainings and workshops. Many topics were covered over the weekend, including:
- Facial fillers
- Fillers to correct black triangles between the teeth
- PDO thread lift
- PRP injections
- Microneedling treatment
Non-surgical and minimally invasive facial treatments continue to expand in popularity. The IAFA brings together a wide range of resources, including facial aesthetic specialists, in order to provide members with comprehensive support, education and knowledge.
